Panorama magazine is seeking detail-oriented, aspiring magazine
journalists looking for practical internship experience with an established
company. Interns would be responsible for writing/editing short arts and
entertainment features as well as maintaining and updating calendar listings
for two publications: Playbill, the Boston edition of the Broadway theater
guide, and Panorama, the official visitor's guide to Boston. Candidates must be
flexible and enthusiastic, and knowledge of QuarkXPress is a huge plus. This is
an internship position that's not about grunt work-we want the most talented
writers, not the fastest coffee-getters. The company is currently seeking
interns for Winter of 2006 and beyond. apply for this position
Production
Production intern wanted for help with text
formatting, copy corrections and design
work. Primary duties will include working on
program copy for national tours of current
Broadway productions, with some design of
ads and collateral material as well.
Candidate must have proficiency with Quark
XPress on the Mac OS X system. Strong
organizational skills required. Web design,
Photoshop and Illustrator experience a plus.

Photography
Publisher of Panorama , the Official Guide to Boston, is seeking a
photo intern for one to three days a week
based on availability to help with photo archiving, assisting with
shoots and occasional assignment photography for interior art for our bi-weekly
magazine. Internship is unpaid, but credit will be given for all published
pictures, and name will appear on magazine masthead. apply for this position
Sales and Marketing
Playbill, Boston's most prestigious theater program and Panorama, Boston's
Official Guide Magazine, is looking for a sales and marketing intern to assist
the sales team. Duties will include sales research, checking out sales leads,
writing letters and mailing media-kits, cold-calling, and general assistance
with all office duties. This is an ideal situation for an individual looking to
